Whether your Head Chef or on Sous-Chef duties, the last thing you want is a sliding chopping board.
Not only is it dangerous, but it's just annoying and makes it quite difficult to slice and dice.
How to prevent your cutting board from moving:
1. Wet a thin tea towel or piece of paper towel under lukewarm water.
2. Wring it out to remove any excess liquid.
3. Spread the tea towel on your kitchen bench top, smoothing out any creases or wrinkles.
4. Place cutting board on top of the tea towel, and try moving it around to test it's stable. If there is still some movement, wet the tea towel a little more and try again.
